The Church and
the Homosexual Issue Frank Worthen with Anita
Worthen Soft Cover
| $15.00 |

A handbook
for pastors, counselors and helpers this book is a toolbox of information on a
subject that is rarely discussed. Homosexuality as an issue presents new
dilemmas every day. In this rapidly changing world, the church needs to educate
itself to be better equipped in helping those who are caught in this
snare.
Frank Worthen was 44 years old when he recommitted his life to
Jesus Christ in 1973. He had no way of knowing then that thousands of lives
could be influenced by his decision. Frank had never heard of anyone leaving
homosexuality before, but he knew he had to make the change.
In the
mid-1970's Frank founded Love In Action, one of the largest and oldest ex-gay
ministries in the world. He also co-founded Exodus International in 1976, now a
worldwide umbrella ministry setting the standard for all ministries that are
helping homosexuals walk free through the power of Christ. Frank has a world
vision for ex-gay ministry and has traveled around the world helping to build
similar ministries.
In 1984, Frank married his wife Anita, who now
serves hand in hand with him. Together, they have been invited to speak in
Europe, Asia and Australia. They returned home to San Rafael, California in
1995 after serving four years in the Philippines where they pioneered the
Bagong Pag-Asa (New
Hope) Ministries as Exodus missionaries.
Frank is now the director and
founder of New Hope Ministries in San Rafael, California, bringing hope to the
homosexual community in the Bay Area.
