Someone I Love Is Gay
—Anita Worthen & Bob Davies

Soft Cover | $12.50 |

Finding out that a child, spouse, relative or friend is homosexual can be an unwelcome surprise. You're hit with a complex combination of emotions—grief, shame, fear, guilt. You are flooded with questions ranging from why to what's next. You wonder what a biblical response would be. At the same time, someone you care about deeply may be awaiting your response. What should you say?

Someone I Love Is Gay was created out of Anita Worthen's struggle over these issues with her son and her work with New Hope Ministries in San Rafael, California, and Bob Davies's personal experience and professional experience with Exodus International in Seattle, Washington. Drawing also on the experiences of others, they will help you to handle your feelings while responding appropriately to your loved one.

"Few people are as knowledgable about the volatile subject of homosexuality as Bob Davies...he is credible and compassionate and speaks the truth in love."—CAL THOMAS

"This book will be really helpful to parents, pastors and leaders. The information is fabulous."—BARBARA JOHNSON, author

"When people put down their misconceptions and pick up this book, they will find truth that will lead them to hope."—STEVE ARTERBURN

"This book is filled with biblically grounded guidance. It is written at a practical and understandable level and presents an array of realistic stories from real life."—STAN JONES

"This book is a must resource for any parent reeling from the news that a son or daughter is gay."—MIKE YORKEY, Focus on the Family

"Someone I Love Is Gay speaks to the heart of parents who have come to know that their son or daughter...has declared himself/herself 'gay'...This volume will help all those who counsel such parents to counsel still better."—REV. JOHN F. HARVEY, Director of Courage

The Church and the Homosexual Issue
—Frank Worthen with Anita Worthen

Soft Cover | $15.00 |

A handbook for pastors, counselors and helpers this book is a toolbox of information on a subject that is rarely discussed. Homosexuality as an issue presents new dilemmas every day. In this rapidly changing world, the church needs to educate itself to be better equipped in helping those who are caught in this snare.

Frank Worthen was 44 years old when he recommitted his life to Jesus Christ in 1973. He had no way of knowing then that thousands of lives could be influenced by his decision. Frank had never heard of anyone leaving homosexuality before, but he knew he had to make the change.

In the mid-1970's Frank founded Love In Action, one of the largest and oldest ex-gay ministries in the world. He also co-founded Exodus International in 1976, now a worldwide umbrella ministry setting the standard for all ministries that are helping homosexuals walk free through the power of Christ. Frank has a world vision for ex-gay ministry and has traveled around the world helping to build similar ministries.

In 1984, Frank married his wife Anita, who now serves hand in hand with him. Together, they have been invited to speak in Europe, Asia and Australia. They returned home to San Rafael, California in 1995 after serving four years in the Philippines where they pioneered the Bagong Pag-Asa (New Hope) Ministries as Exodus missionaries.

Frank is now the director and founder of New Hope Ministries in San Rafael, California, bringing hope to the homosexual community in the Bay Area.
