Our ninth Family and Friends weekend will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2008, at Valley Baptist Church in San Rafael, California. We look forward to inviting MARY HEATHMAN as our special guest speaker for the event.

Mary is a founding member of the ministry Where Grace Abounds in Denver, Colorado, and has served as Executive Director since its inception in July, 1986. She also has served as the Chair of the Board of Exodus International and has taught at churches and conferences across the U.S. and in Europe. Mary is especially called to the ministry roles of discipleship counseling, group facilitation and leadership development.

Mary often characterizes herself as "a seeker of Truth" and has a long-standing fascination with human behavior and motivation. Her education consists of lay and discipleship counseling, independent study on the integration of psychology and theology, counseling and human sexuality.

Frank & Anita are the directors of New Hope Ministries, will be hosting our Family & Friends event, and will be teaching and leading workshops during the event.

If you wish to register for Family & Friends 2008 please log back onto our Web site after May 1, 2008, when it will be possible to register online using a major credit card (VISA or MasterCard). The Conference fee will be $65 per person; this price includes light snacks and drinks that will be available during the day. For those paying by check, Registration Packs will be available from New Hope's Office after May 1, 2008.

A reduced rate will be available for pastors and for groups of 5 or more. So please log back onto our Web site after May 1, 2008, to register for the Conference!
